Julian Crawford
JULIAN has a science and business background. He originally studied Zoology at Oxford University, England as well as finding time to row in the famous Oxford-Cambridge Boat Race. Julian then worked internationally as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in the UK, Europe and Australia. He became National Technical & Training Manager, focusing on the banking and finance sectors.
He has also owned and operated an international retail and marketing group and so understands first hand the challenges of managing a business in a complex and competitive environment.
He is an accredited consultant and trainer with the global sustainability framework, The Natural Step. He is an experienced facilitator and member of IAP2. He has been a director of the not-for-profit Futures Foundation and Environs Australia, the local government environment network.
Julian is also on the Institute of Chartered Accountants’ Broad Based Business Reporting Committee. He writes and speaks widely on sustainability and TBL issues.
