Sustainability

Since establishment in 1999, FSI Founding Partner EcoSTEPS has been at the forefront of developing thinking on Sustainability frameworks and approaches.

EcoSTEPS is an Organisational Stakeholder of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI)  www.globalreporting.org, assisting in the development and practical implementation of GRI with its wide range of clients.

The company is also pleased to be an Endorsing Partner of the Global Footprint Network www.footprintnetwork.org and a collaborating partner with Sydney University’s Integrated Sustainability Analysis (ISA) group www.isa.org.usyd.edu.au.

EcoSTEPS was pleased to make a submission to the Australian Parliamentary Inquiry by the House Environment and Heritage Committee into a Sustainability Charter.

EcoSTEPS also partnered with the University of New South Wales Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) team led by Dr Sven Lundie on a major study for the Australian Greenhouse Office (AGO).

In addition, Director, Julian Crawford was invited to attend an Education and Community Education Roundtable at Parliament House with other key stakeholders.

Retail / FMCG

Directors of FSI Founding Partner Shopportunity have been contributing to the FMCG and Retail industry at executive, board and industry committee level for many years as well as providing thought leadership and commentary to industry summits and publications.

Shopportunity Directors regularly present at national industry conferences including the FMCG Impact Summit, APAC, the Australasian Association of Convenience Stores National Conference and Shopportunity’s own international trends seminars. Shopportunity Director Peter Huskins has served on the executive of the Retail Traders Association of Victoria, the Australian Supermarket Institute and the Grocery Industry Supply Chain Committee.

Director Norrelle Goldring is an Associate member of the Australian Marketing Institute (AMI), Member of the Australian Institute of Management (AIM), and Fellow of the Institute of Sales and Marketing (ASMI).

Sustainability Marketing Director Lee McAllistair’s work has been the recipient of several awards including the Australian Marketing Institute (AMI) Awards for Marketing Excellence, the Public Relations Institute of Australia Golden Target Awards and the Premier’s Food Awards (SA).
